10．Having/being出现错原则。（having的特例，credit后面用having；being的特例，the chance of being/the distinction of being）。

解释某几个：

1。定语从句尽量省略，意思就是说能用分词、形容词直接修饰的时候，不要把它变成从句。

比如说：This is a book that is interesting.用定语从句就复杂了，可以直接说：This is an interesting book。

过去分词是一样的。例如：The book that is written by Hugo is very good,应该表示为The book written by Hugo is very good.

这反应了GMAT中的“简洁”的思路，用尽量少的词清楚的表达。注意，一切是在清楚的前提下。如果用分词容易产生歧义或出现逻辑主语的错误时，则必须用从句来表达。

这句话可以分两层意义理解，第一层，only，情态动词等列举出来的这些，如果原文中有，或者明显表示出这个意思的，正确答案中绝对不能省略掉。

第二层意思，only的位置绝对不能变。仍然以上句为例，如果出现如下句子：only she can sing that song.那这也是不正确的表达，因为意思变了。与此类似，位置不能变的还有形容词的最高级等表示绝对性意思的词汇。

4.if/when/because三种关系强加/丢失错原则

这是指，如果原文中有表现if,when,because等条件原因的意思，正确答案中也必然有此层意思的表达。但如果原文中没有if,when,because等这层含义，那么任何添加有这种条件原因意思的表达都是错误的。

反映GMAT的考试精神：忠于原句原意，尽量不要改动，除非原句中有明显错误或表达不清的地方。
