答案里说AC不对是因为对比了price和time，但是为什么这里的对比不能是now比last year？究竟怎么看这个对比的主体的呢？

可以对比now和a year ago，但是句子肯定不这么写。
想知道比较的主体是什么很容易：
xxx than结构中，xxx就是加了比较级的那个形容词或者副词，这题中是higher。也就是something is higher than something。好了，现在把你以为的比较对象往里代：
1. 比较时间：now is higher than a year ago 这里能用higher吗？
2. 比较prices： prices now are higher than prices a year ago 这里的确可以用higher
比较的主体是不是一下子就试出来了？

可是我觉得题目可能是把主谓都省略了呀
