如下题，答案是C，但是我认为前面第一句用的是“its”，但是A,B,C后面“an expanding cloud of energized particles ejected from the Sun"说的是particles，复数，和前面的its不对应，但是解析说的是“ The scientists monitored a cloud ejected from the Sun. The cloud triggered a large storm, whose consequences were the brightening of the Northern Lights and the possible knocking out of a satellite”，麻烦各位大神讲解一下，不胜感激！
