OG1113题，再次请教为什么要用完成时

这题要选seen和未画线的hanve looked up平行，这一点我没有疑问，我的问题是，为什么原句要用完成时，为什么不用一般现在时，look是一个短暂性的动作，have looked up应该表示这个动作已经完成了，可是为什么又能和have seen这个延续性动作一起并列呢？我实在是想不明白，以前的解释也未能解决我的困惑，请NN们指点迷津！

我觉得现在时和完成时都可以呀，强调的侧重点不同而已。

本句强调从过去到现在一直延续的经常发生的事情，可以用完成时。就比如说，我已经去过美国三次了，不是要用完成时吗（这里是ofen）?

anyway，look up into 可是有抬头看到的意思呀！

howardwan，你说的很有道理，“我已经去过三次美国了”可以翻成“I have been to American three times.” 但是印象里好像不能说成“I have gone to American three times.” 这大概是高中英语中比较强调的知识点，anyway，这也是凭记忆而已了，毕竟已经10年过去了，可能这个印象就是错的，也可能这个知识点在ETS这里行不通。不知道是那种情况。

I have gone to American.表示去而未回来；I have been to American.表示去过但已回来。我也不清楚了，我高中毕业的时间可是远大于你的吆。

如果"I have gone to American"表示“去了但没有回来”，为什么还会有“I have been to American three times”的用法呢？

所以，我说I have gone to American。并没有说three times。此处用three times应该是不正确的。但是i have gone to American是可以说的。
