Overyoka, if you hold a valid working permit at Hong Kong regardless of its duration, you will be statistically classified as 'Hong Kong Applicant'. However it does not matter much on whether you are a Hong Kong applicant or China mainland applicant as you will be equally treated whatever you are from Hong Kong or China mainland and any school does not have such preference or limitation imposed. DO remember that school will not be responsible for applying visa at Hong Kong if you are in part-time MBA programme and if your company contend to relocate you elsewhere within the two years since your MBA commencement, you have to think about the visa issues.
Of course, for 2015 intake, you have plenty of time to think out and prepare for your GMAT. Despite school can consider to exempt GMAT under a few circumstances, you are still recommended to take one especially when applying HKUST.
