答案选C
但是我觉得their grandparents would find a miraculous 这个修饰appliances 的定语从句少了宾语啊
难道不该在their前面加that或者which吗？

定语从句的that有时候可以省略：当that /who在从句修饰和先行词是宾语时可以省略。这个household appliances是afford的宾语！所以可以省略的！
