口语中是可以用and连接的，但是书面语中and会割裂两个句子的关系。另外A中最后的表达是有问题的。

完全不同的两个句子，A是两句并列，E是后一句作定语修饰speed records。前面刚有帖子问过，建议先多翻翻以前贴子，以前帖子回答比较详细。
