请教大家：og-7 would have done的理解

og-7.的正确选项是：
As its sales of computer products have surpassed those of measuring instruments, the company has become increasingly willing to compete for the mass market sales （it would in the past have conceded to rivals.）
括号内句子的时态问题，小女子实在不清楚。我翻阅了该题以前的讨论帖，大致有两种说法：
“1.与过去事实相反，should/would + have +动词过去分词。”
我的看法是这个定语从句明明就说的是过去sales的情况，公司过去就是会向对手让步，这是事实，并没有相反啊。
2.“Would/may+ have+Vpp→表示推測過去的行為。”
这个看上去比较靠谱，但不知到底是不是该这样理解

请教各位，这里的would have done的用法到底该怎么理解呢？

这里should/can/would都是虚拟语气，表示过去应该这么做，过去能这么做，过去可能会这么做，实际上都没有，不然就不叫虚拟语气了

实际上的情况呢，如果the company has already given up the mass market sales, how will it achieve the sales breakthrough of computer product in mass market?? 可能就是这家公司过去的业务重点在instrument of measurement而不是mass market的商品吧

it would in the past have conceded to rivals. 在我看来，不管它是因为业务重点还是其他原因，结果都是该公司concede to its rivals.所以用“compete for the mass market sales it in the past conceded to rivals”不好吗？

实际上的情况呢，如果the company has already given up the mass market sales, how will it achieve the sales breakthrough of computer product in mass market?? 可能就是这家公司过去的业务重点在instrument of measurement而不是mass market的商品吧
