151 What is the most important animal in your country? Why is the animal important? Use reasons and specific details to explain your answer.

Nowadays, animals are weaving a fabric of human society, whether in terms of economy, environment or other social functions. The issue this phenomenon raises is that which animal is of most importance in our country. From my point of view, I strongly believe that dogs are the most significant creatures to human beings. In the following paragraphs, I would show my reasons with supporting examples

To begin with, dogs are intimate friends of human beings in my country. On the one hand, they function as capable workers in our society. For example, some dogs can lead the blind cross the dangerous street, and others serve to find the drugs hidden in luggage when the policemen are working at airports. On the other hand, dogs are a kind of popular pet in North America. It is not uncommon to see that people walk casually with their dogs in the streets, holding the leash in their hand.

In addition, from a zoology perspective, an important animal can be identified by the following three characters: first, its population; second, its species; third, its adaptability to the environment. According recent report, the population of dogs in my country has reached 1 million. Also, there are more than 70 species in the dog family. Last but not least, the dogs can not only live in people's house, but also survive well on the barren mountains or even in the frozen belts. All these factors demonstrate that dogs are successful animals.

Admittedly, there are some other animals, which have critical impacts on our society, such as pigs. However, these animals do not share all the attributes that dogs have. In other words, viewing this issue from a narrow perspective point is not favorable.

To sum up, dogs are the most important animals in my country. In fact, these lovely animals are becoming a member in our society, and more and more individuals or associations begin to research their behaviours and habitat to help them live well in our society.
