181 prep笔记上解释 "twice Y" / "X times Y" can definitely be used as an appositive。同位语肯定要修饰相邻noun，但是没有合适相邻的noun，所以错。

A a successful grassroots campaign 和 have 存在单复数不一致
D convinced 是过去时，逻辑上，The organic food industry 组织了一个campaign（现在完成时），这个campaign 说服了 Department of Agriculture 采取....行动。
假如使用convinced（过去时）， “过去时”的时间要发生在现在完成时之前，这个和原文的逻辑意思冲突。错误排除
Verb是为语义服务。
C/E in convincing 不是很有效的的修饰方式。

建议楼主发帖前先去网上搜索下相关贴子和仔细看Prep笔记，其实这些都是前人问过的问题。假如无法理解，建议LZ再把MANHATTAN和OG拿起来看，PREP可以先放一放。
