开头就说发错邮件了,我还以为要把offer收回去呢 原来是那句说我们本科学得很差劲的那句不是要发给我的。。 It has come to my attention that in a recent email to communicate our joy for the prospect of having you as our student, we have sent mistakenly the wrong version to you. It has been a clerical error in our mail merge IT program.
The paragraph as in the appendix should not have been included in the email sent to you. It was intended for a few students which are very bright but coming from an disadvantaged background. As the program director, even though I personally do not involve in the administrative aspects of admission, let me apologize on behalf of the team for the mistake. lease accept our sincere apology. We are very sorry for any inconvenience or discomfort caused.
We look forward to meeting you in person in our campus in the coming July. Please let us know if there is anything more we can be of help.
Happy Chinese New year.
Best regards,
Chak Wong
Professor of Finance Practice Director, MSc Finance Associate Director, MBA Director of Business Development, APIB
Appendix – wrong paragraph We believe that you are a bright student. However, your foundation is simply too weak, having learnt very little during your four years of undergraduate study. Your performance in the interview is not good, however, we can see that you have potential. We would like to give you a chance to try. However, we believe that there is high chance that you will fail at least half, if not all, of the prerequisite examinations. We believe that it will take you 2, or possibly 3 years, to complete the master. Do not accept our offer if you do not fully understand the risk.
