not only... but also..
争创语序不会把but和also隔开吧，不过会有省略also的情况
倒装语序里面，not only放句首，会有but also隔开的情况

C选项可以从语义上理解also的位置 because of doctors having also written
also在written前面，感觉好像doctors除了written还做了别的事情，但是句子里并没有说doctor干别的事

but also 是可以以单独使用的，表示转折
