Researchers agreed that the study of new treatments fro heart attack patients was extremely important but more research was needed to determine that balloon angioplasty preceded with ultrasound was of was not any better for heart attack patients than the balloon procedure by itself.

答案是B 我选的C.. 我的理由是划线部分和它前面的从句应该都是agree 的内容。。宾语从句的并列是 that and that 形式..

楼主确认一下这个题目你没有打错吧，然后那个你说的答案B，貌似也有很多问题的，，麻烦你校正一下先，首先B中不能是更多的研究者被需要的，感觉意思不合理，然后那个也不能用was的吧，前面是复数的说，还有就是whether (or not)括号中的部分在GMAT中经常是省略的，至少我好像没有怎么见过有or not的官方题作为正确答案的

这里可能是因为that前面没有逗号吧，这点不确定，你可以查一下，确定了告诉我下，我想如果没有逗号的话，应该链接紧邻连词的两个部分并列，这样的话不需要补出that也不会导致歧义

另外C中感觉还有一个错误就是was needed to determine语法上感觉是more research determine但是逻辑上不是的

这道题Prep里的，答案是C，B错原因：
1.没有that，跟前面不平行
2.whether or not 错
3.to determine > for determining

这本书里答案有很多是错的，通常最后几节课会纠正后面的答案
