数学遇到很多寂静, 运气不错... 可惜verbal不争气, 没有考好, 比一般练习的成绩都要低. 本来语法就不好, 估计语法题错了一大半.

感谢CD, 下面是一些数学, 逻辑和作文的狗狗

数学

貌似不在JJ上的:

1. If 41/100<n/20<41/84 (不确定最后一个数字, 换成小数应该是0.48左右), n is which of the following:
A. 6
B. 7
C. 8
D. 9
E. 10

2. 简单题: 75是15的百分之多少
答案500%
381的变型: DS – Range for rental of all three-bedroom apt and four-bedroom apt is 800, ask what is the rental range for four-bedroom apt
1. Rental range for three-bedroom apt is 200
2. The cheapest four-bedroom is 100 more than the most expensive three-bedroom apt
我选的C(好像是... 不是很记得了)
3. 5个步骤的问题. 答案是7

4, 202, 357. 好像我碰到的题目是变体. 给的条件是直径是16, 20和40.阴影部分是中圆减去小圆，问阴影部分占整个靶子的几分之几。记得要先算出半径就可以了

11, 269, 175, 369. Percentile的题目. 答案是84%没有错.

58 V1 99*101+ 98*102+97*103等于下面哪个？
答案: 100^2+100^2+100^2 – (1^2+2^2+3^2)

102. 1+7+7^2+7^3+.............+7^8, 求7^9的那道. 不过给出的数字好像是6开头的

105.DS - A是perfect cub, 问是否可以被1000整除. 答案是D

112.一个长方形，长x宽y，要制作出圆柱，第一种以x为底y为高，第二种以y为底x为高，问是否能决定哪个体积较大
1. x>2y
2.y<3x
选A

117, 136, 240, 328. 一个数6除余2，被8除余4 被48除余几? 答案是20.

164. Law firm和lawyer license的问题. 不过我的问题好像问的是三个license都有的人有多少个. 答案应该是3个吧.

220. 一个公司programmer的平均收入是x,statistician的平均收入是y,问programmer和statistician的平均收入与(x+y)/2哪个大？
1.programmer人数比较多
2.programmer的平均收入比statistician的平均收入少xxx
答案是狗狗里的C没有错

248.curtain 的问题: 一条窗帘，洗后要缩水，洗后的长度比洗前的长度少了B%，设洗后的长度为L，长度变化差为X，当1≤B≤3时，问X的最大值是多少？
答案应该是3L/97吧

273. 概率题。4个红签，4个蓝签，放在袋子里，每次取1个，不放回，三次全取红签的概率。
答：1/14.解析：(4/8)（3/7)（2/6）=1/14

287

V字形的容器~里边装了一些水~~~水面宽3feet 容器顶部宽5feet 容器总高3feet 要求的h是容器中没水的那部分的高。答案是6/5

304, 330, 434. 有个圆和一条线K是否相交
1.圆的两个y的截距是2和-2
2.K的x截距是-3/2
答案是E

457 .x,y都是正整数,r,t是质数,问x/r, y/t是不是different number?
1).x,y非质数
2).r不是x的因子.
我选的C

391. DS: 曲线 y=a(x+h)^2 + K. 它是否和x轴只有一个交点?
1) h=2
2) K=0
答案是B没有错

404. 问1000是x的factor吗？
（1）2000是4x的factor

逻辑:

貌似JJ上没有出现过的
1. 一直以来大家都认为Egyptian最早开始从4000BCkeep cats as pets. However, recently discovery in Cyprus发现有9000BC 的human skeleton and cat skeleton被埋在很靠近的地方. 所以科学家认为人们从9000BC就开始keep cats as pets了.
问的是weaken的选项.
我选的是不能确定human skeleton和cat skeleton是在同一时间被埋下的.
2. A Mexican food manufacturer started introducing its brand of products to the United States market. Initially, Mexicans living the States are their only customers. 住在墨西哥的墨西哥人是住在美国的墨西哥人的5倍. However, the owner of the Mexican brand is confident that the sale will be doubled immediately.
问which of the following provides strongest support to the owner’s claim
我选的是住在美国的墨西哥人花在吃上的钱要比住在墨西哥的墨西哥人多
其它选项有:
- 这个墨西哥厂家请了一个很好的美国distributor
- More and more Americans start accepting foreign food
- 不记得了…

3. 说原来铅中毒的人很多,因为原来的水管都是铅(lead)做的. 水里面含了铅, 人喝了就中毒了. 但是后来有人发现有些地方的人的血液里的铅含量很少.
问哪一个可以解释这个问题.
我选的是有的地方的水里面含了一些矿物质, 可以在水管里形成carbonate coating, 这样铅就不会溶到水里了

4. 一个抗生素的题目,不过和JJ上的不一样. 说抗生素如果用多了, 身体就有抗药性了. 有一种抗生素刚刚推广出来给人用,但是已经在羊身上用了很久了. 所以the time before the bacteria develop resistance to the antibiotics on humans is reduced.
不记得是问什么了.. 不过当时选的很纠结.. 不知道为什么这个antibiotics用在羊身上会对人有影响…
还有一些补充给已经有的JJ

74、stone考古
有一个什么国家的古老的stone被偷了(looted) , 虽然考古学家知道这个stone是从这个国家来的, 但是不知道exact origin. 后来又在这个国家的另外一个地区发现了一些这样的石头, inscription, color, 什么的都一样. 考古学家说原来这个被偷的石头可能就是从这个地区来的.
问哪一个支持了这个观点
我选的是原来这个被偷的石头和新发现的石头的化学成分和这个地区附近的一个矿里的石头的化学成分是一样的.

21、老鼠血压
我碰到的不是关于老鼠, 是关于iguana (大蜥蜴). 说在一个岛上有一种这样的iguana, 他们本来是没有天敌的, 但是一群科学家追着这个蜥蜴15分钟,然后测量了蜥蜴的stress hormone level. 然后岛上还有另外一种iguana, 有猫狗这样的天敌. 科学家也抓了这种iguana, 然后测量他们的stress hormone. 结果发现没有天敌的iguana被追了15分钟后的stress hormone level和没有天敌也没有被追的蜥蜴是一样的. 有天敌的iguana的stress level要高很多.
问可以得出什么结论.
我好像选的是有天敌的动物要天生比没有天敌的动物stress hormone level要高. (不是很确定了…)
95、花园用水
说一个城市预计会要有a drought period this year which is more severe than in the past. The government is going to set up a series of policies to reduce the water usage in watering plants. However, from the annual water usage report, water used in watering plants consists of only a small portion of the total usage.
问哪一个选项提供的信息可以使政府颁布的法律很effective

其他选项有:
