[求助] 几道prep的数学，谢谢大家了

1、(PS) m*=3m when m is odd; m*=m/2 when m is even. 问 9* x 6* =？

            这题答案给的是27，可是我怎么算都是81……汗（9 x 3 x 6x 1/2 =81）。。。

            真的不知道错在哪里了。。。麻烦大家给看看，谢谢

2、(DS) 在一个event中，the ratio of the number of women to the number of children was 5 to 2; what is the number of man?

  i. the ratio of the number of children to the number of men was 5 to 11;

 ii. the number of women is less than 30

答案是C。 可是我不太明白，women. children. men. total number，没有一个是固定的数字，怎么能够确定men有多少呢？

2 w:c=5:2

c:m=5:11

w:c:m=25:10:22

w less than 30, so we can conclude that w equals 25 and man =22

意思就是，women,men,children是三种咯。。

children就是不分性别的咯
