答案是B。C, D, and E present
the inappropriate subject vocal tracts, which cannot logically govern
the second member of the predicate (i.e., vocal tracts cannot be said to
be without language).

and后面的so were probably without language是和had a vocal tract that
resembled those of the apes并列么？句子结构看不太懂，麻烦NN解答一下，谢谢啦！

谢谢哦～～～不过偶还有一个傻傻的问题，嘿嘿，那么and连接的应该是两个句子的并列吧，前面是不是应该有“，”呢？
还是因为省略，就变成了俩个phrases的并列了，so只是表达了一种逻辑上的关系，所以就不用“，”了。还得麻烦您解答下^。^！

如果沒記錯, "the element of style"(書)說不用comma如果前後主語一樣&後面的主語又被omitted.
可是我看到OG對", and"的用法好像不一致, 可是不肯定....
反正從來不是考點 =)
"had a vocal tract resembling an ape's"跟"were probably without language"不能叫phrase...是叫predicate ;-)
