答案是C，没有问题，我想问的是A的错误之处，是不是因为as的原因？如果是，为什么as不行呢？TNAKS IN ADVANCE!

a的问题应该是as是连词还是代词，无论是连词还是代词，as从句的主语都有问题。

为什么as不行呢？

as可以做介词，关系代词、副词和连词。

achieving a consistency of quality and production in farm animals as once thought to be limited to manufactured goods.这句话中，as不可能是介词，副词；也不可能是关系代词，因为：其先行词必须被such或the same修饰；如果as是连词，则as引导的从句缺少主语。所以...

主要是从逻辑意思，无论是省略主语，还是代词作主语(楼上关于作代词的说法是有一定道理的)。逻辑意思都不顺。
