我怎么看都觉得A项很清晰的结构,OG的解释我也没弄明白.

其他很清楚排除.AB我不晓得为什么选的是B

Take a look of the sentence. "In addition to having more protein -than wheat does" is a prepositional phrase modifying another word in this sentences. All you need to do is to figure what it modifies. Only "rice" can have more protein than wheat but not protein. So you can eliminate answer choice A, C, D. Answer choice E is wrong because protein is not countable.

If you choose A, you are making the mistake of misplacing modifier.
