答案选A。但是对these存在疑问，these指代endorphins 还是 hot sauces? 而且GMAT不是不喜欢用this, these 指代么？而且还是不接修饰成分的this 和 these

much to my chagrin, it's legitimate.
i'm still seething at the use of "these" as a standalone pronoun. this is one of the worst sentences i've ever seen.

我认为LZ分析的有道理。改成those指代还是有问题，实践证明这种程度的ambiguity就足以致命了。

我已经为这种用法找到依据了；所以再一次证明不能靠偷鸡取巧的方法考gmat。老老实实的学习语法。没有什么gmat不喜欢……这种说法。它不喜欢某种用法只能说明某种用法本来就是错误的。。换句话说它只要使用了的也没有什么好不好，只有对不对----绝对是对的
