@cli2g13, I'm not sure how Ms Chiang background is relevant (and how you decided she was neither an alum nor a full-time employee. But I digress), however it REALLY doesn't matter who's interviewing you this time around.

I didn't mean to imply there's anything wrong with the hub, but the lack of responses from its alums is a bit concerning, if you can't do the interview, at least have the courtesy to let me know, or do list yourself as an interviewer... I missed out on the HK hub because I was waiting for an alum to respond, luckily I got a spot in Shanghai, what if that was all booked.... the hub interview is being conducted by someone that works with the program as a consultant btw, not an alum or full time employee...

I'm not sure that you would be interviewed by Grace Chiang. I assumed that might be the case since she's the person listed on the hub and that she's affiliated with Wharton from what I gather. Although there is a chance that my information is way off. In fact, don't go by what I said.

@ Jason - I always get the same four people when I run the alum search, is that supposed to be the case?
and suppose we are interviewed by someone that didn't go to Wharton, should I still ask the same questions at the end? some of which are specifically related to the curriculum or other aspects of the school. I don't want to spit out three questions and have each one unanswerable...

Just got done with my hub interview in Shanghai, thought I'd update y'all while I wait for my flight.

Same basic experience as others have previously mentioned 3 behavioral type questions. one about taking a lead, one about considering others' views on a project, and another about convincing someone. the whole thing lasted about 20min. not sure what to think about that.

My interviewer was a consultant that didn't go to Wharton, so she couldn't answer some of my school specific questions.

other thoughts: she was nice, but professional, didn't waste any time on small talk, just told me that she'd ask me 3 q's and would talk notes, and leave time for me to ask questions at the end. she didn't have my resume either.

I don't think there's a "required length" on the responses. mine lasted abt 20min including my questions..

it's more about the quality of your stories than the length anyways.

How come the interviewer is not an Adcom or alumnus? Wouldn't that be strange?
