一口气请教AI新题1、 3 、8 、9,多谢!

这几题我好像只能从一个角度去阐述,没有多余的辩证思想了,请教一下大家是怎么分析这几题的,多谢!

1. The primary responsibility of citizens is to obey their nation's civil and criminal laws.

3. Lying should be avoided primarily because it harms people's ability to live togther in society.

8. Because it is in the best interest of a society to promote integrity and moral behavior, governments should censor television and radio programs for offensive language and behavior.

9. Despite the violence and stereotypes present in many popular forms of entertainment created for children (such as books, movies, and video games), we should still allow children to experience this kind of entertainment.

说这样的话也是一种ability to live together in society

Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the opinion stated above. Support your views with reasons and/or examples from your own experience, observations, or reading.

Laws are concerned with establishing social order and protecting the community as a whole. It gives us set of orders for peace, safe and orderly living. It is essential for every citizen to obey the civil and criminal laws enforced by the nation. I completely agree with the author. I would like to give my views with examples to support my stance.

First, let us take income-tax as an example, if every citizen pays income-tax properly then government can raise its funds and use the funds for the citizen’s benefits, if people fails pay then it will indirectly affect the citizens itself. So people should be bound to the laws set up by the government for the orderly living.

Second, we see many people drive their vehicles while talking on mobiles. Not only these people will put their lives in danger but also they will be dangerous to many other riders. So if everybody in the society takes responsibility to obey the laws then everybody in this society will be safe and secured and lead their lives peacefully.

Third, we heard of many cases of drug abusing, people who takes drugs can go for any extent to get it. For example to buy those drugs they need to pay money and if the person doesn’t have money with him will try to steal or even he will threat somebody to get the money and this will lead to crime. A Person who takes drugs not only affects his life but also he will be threat to the society.

Finally, the above examples clearly show that the every citizen should obey the laws set by the nation to lead safe and hygienic life otherwise it will be affect not only the people but society as a whole.

The author states that “ The primary responsibility of citizens is to obey nation’s civil and criminal Law”. I whole heartedly agree with this statement. Practicing the laws and rules laid by the government is beneficial for the entire nation. After all the Laws are made for creating a disciplined society and are for the benefits for the entire nation

Firstly, Citizens abiding the civil and criminal laws of the country actively contribute to development of the nation by supporting the government and it’s policies. It helps the government and nation achieve its short term and long terms goals. Paying Income tax is a classic example. If very citizen pays income-tax , the n it would help the government in raising funds and those funds will be used generating facilities like good school, good roads for the people.

.
Secondly, Obeying laws help in creating a disciplined society which is a critical factor in the success of every society and nation as a whole. For E.g. Penalizing people smoking at public places decreases the pollution. In addition it also discourages people to smoke. Furthermore the health hazard due to smoke which other people near to a smoker are controlled.

However, it is possible to argue that blindly following the laws can lead to a stagnant society. For E.g Denial of Right to speech. When Socrates proposed an idea about Earth orbiting around Sun, he was imprisoned since he defied the popular belief. He was considered as a criminal who stood against the Government. Blindly following the rules in such cases where the rules are suppressing essential acts like freedom to speech, freedom to write etc could ultimately cause damage to the society and nation as a whole.

In conclusion, though it is essential that citizens should abide to laws made by government, it is also essential that they should be well thought rather than accepted blindly.

As an audience, do you wonder when you can call an end to boring TV programs? As a citizen, do you ever ask yourself when you can see truth out of the cencored propaganda? As a parent, do you really think media cencorship is the best way to protect your children? As a journalist and media professional, do you long to be yourself in your career and shake off the censorship bridle? Sensing various kinds of censorship in the media, I really look forward to a day when we can say farewell to heavy censorship and enjoy a true air of freedome in TV and radio.

First, the direct victim of strict censorship is the TV and radio industry and the media professionals. When the TV channel is full of censored films, songs and even censored news, it alienates its audience and leads itself to deterioration. Censorship is usually out of political, cultural, and commercial consideration. Whether the intent is to make the programs more decent, to protect the government, to avoid cultural conflict, or to please invested interest, censorship harms the media more than it serves. One good example is the journalists whose work is continuously censored either turn stereotype and no longer creative, or choose to leave the profession to maintain personal integrity. Regret enough, usually the later group is consisted of the most talanted professionals.
Second, citizens can not get true enjoyment from censored entertainment programs because some censorship either declares certain works as prohibited, or simply cut out offensive contents. By doing so, the movies are made unrealistic and not interesting. Neither can citizens expect the cencored news to reveal the truth. It is extremely ridiculous to see one tone from different minds due to cencorship or so-called orientation. The news, bearing a ready bias and perspective by the cencorship, fails to be informative.
Due to above mentioned negative effects, I strongly oppose cencorship. I know some people will raise objection by the question "how about children". It is true that any responsible parents would hate to have their children exposed to programs containing nudity, sex, violence, war, strong language and drugs, etc.. But some rating system or label with parental advisory will help to protect children. After all, it is the partents who are responsible to decide what their children view, not the TV or radio station. A critic made it very clear by saying :" If you find some TV programs offensive, don't watch them. Nothing will kill TV program faster than low ratings or boycott."
In conclusion, I opine that little or no censorship will leave the TV and radio industry embrace freedom, creativity, integrity and social responsibility; It wil build up mature audiences with good judgment and give them more pleasure in enjoying diversity. Having all these benefits in mind, would you still say censorship is necessary?
