问：How strict are the essay word limits? All my essays are ranging in the 600-word range. Is that excessive?

For essay 2 and 3 does the ad com take into account that applicants need to write the essay topics as well and this affects final word limit.

答：Please keep in mind that we do not see the word count for your essays and we will not count the words. Any essay within reason of the word limit is fine. I wouldn't worry about an essay in the low 600 word count range.

不过还是有点疑惑。据说essay是n多人随机看的，一个admin的说可以超一些，是否代表所有admin的都同意此观点呢。个人认为，还是有风险的。请大家分析分析
