 Some students participate in school activities such as clubs and sports. Other students do not take part in such activities because they spend more time on their studies. Tell why you think the two groups of students spend their time differently? Which type of student do you prefer to be? Explain why.

As more and more students enter university,schookschool life become increasingly colorful and various.Generally speaking,the students can be divided into two groups,one is the academic group,while the other is the social group.Namely,one kind of students take part in many activities,for example,such as join some clubs,organise get-togethers or do projects.Contrary to these students,many others choose to devote themselves into study,and stay away from most of the activities.

Different personalities and ambitions lead to this circumstance.The extroverted students may prefer social work,which needs communication,participation and applicationinnovation.Most of them will choose to work right after graduation.They think since they must enter society one day,then why not be more socialized early?And the introverted students have their different considerations.They love academic studies and they think the main function of university is to impart knowledge.

As for myself,I will certainly choose the former life style.I am not a very extroverted person and I love stusystudy.But to participate in school activities is superior to studying in many aspects.

The most importand reason is that in a fast-developing and updating society,as competition become fiercer and fiercer,the key point that determines our life mostly is ability.To join clubs and sports teams can teach us very important qualities,such as leadership,communicating skills and thinking strategies,as well as how to cooperate,which is of great significance today.

Besides,another reason that can not be ignored is to attend more activities can win us more friends.To know more people,on one hand,can give us entertainment and comfort;on the other hand,can be very helpful in our future career.

Additionally,we can get more wonderful experiences and may even have the opportunity to touch foreign cultures,which will not only broaden our horizens but also get us to have a better and more complete understanding of human kind.

To devoteDevoting oneself to study certainly have its own merits.One can get more specialized knowledge and lay a solid academic foundation,win a high scholarship and mayis likely to make some embalmed discoveries by studying hard.

AsFrom all that has been discussed above,undoubtedly I will choose to be more active in school.As one famous person once asked,to be the only or to be the first?I firmly choose to be the only.
