MIT M.Fin, Columbia MFE or Cornell MFE

请各位帮小弟挑一个offer to accpet…

MIT MSF, no internship, very expensive, no alumni network, courses are basically CFA stuff
Columbia MFE, large class size but with internship option, located in NYC
Cornell MFE, need to move to NY on last term (troublesome), school does not rank high in international ranking

I’m not sure if I want to be a quant or general finance…
I think I can just get a CFA in the future, which would worth as much as an MSF.
However, if I take MFE, I saw most quant jobs are for people with PhD in math or physics, so I can probably end up in analyst (low level) position with an MFE.

看你喜欢corporate finance还是quant analyst，我个人觉得哥大的是一年半还是两年比较长，对非当地学生找工作有利

Recommend Columbia, although the competition is pretty fierce with students majoring in MF, Statistics and OR in job market. Why not consider working as a trader?

我首先来膜拜。。
然后我觉得吧。。如果你喜欢数理+电脑一点的，就去哥大，如果不是，就去mit吧。。

i would screen out Cornell first.

MIT has a better overall reputation while Columbia places students well on Wall St. with internship opportunities and its class size isn't necessarily large (<40 for 09fall intake)
