求问三个问题
（1）OG 上并没有指出选项中 that of的错误而且对D选项的解释是 Although this option is not technically wrong, it is less clear and graceful than (B )
请问that of 如果指代的是什么
（2）C,E 到底是因为限制性定从有逗号这个语法点上算是正确还是错误
（3）还有就是整个句子的意思到底是什么

答案是选B吗?

先看意思是可以发现 personal spending 和personal spending 比较。

前半句有personal spending, 后半句中有in personal spending

如果选有that of 的话，that of 代指personal spending, 这样就和in personal spending重复，所以不用选 that of

that of属于重复指代
另外increase就是指的number，number和number可以直接对比

那么那个that 引导限制性定从前面是不好加逗号还是？

我觉得double是vt，这里没有对比。不知道理解是不是正确。请指正一下。

Sales rose A percent in August, intensifying the expectations that spending in July-Sep would [more than] double the <B percent> growth rate <in spending> for previous quarter.

spending would double the growth rate --> 理解：上一个季度(May-July)增长是1.4%，这个季度仅仅8月sales就涨了0.8%，预测个人消费会使得本季度(July-Sep)的增长(estimate to be 2.8%)比上季度的增长(1.4%)多一倍。
