(E) that there be explanations of technical issues by experts has become

C我没意见，但A为什么不好，我觉得同位语从句对need做解释说明不好吗？

还是need for sb to do 是固定用法，没有the need 后面跟同位语从句的？

这里是讲需要什么，need for 目标明确；

不是讲什么样的需要， need + that 定语从句。不是语法错误，而是表达不清晰。

同意NN joe11，但是A中need+that是同位语从句，因为need不在从句中作任何成分。个人判断同位语是否正确的依据是：改成主系结构，看通不通。 The need is that experts explain technical issues, 不通，所以错。

还是有些不明白，for短语不是一样表示什么样的需要吗？
