58. Some people say that the scarcity of food is a function of the finite limits of the earth’s resources, coupled with a relentless rate of population growth. A. People prefer eating meat to eating grain.

题目逻辑关系：

某说法：因为土地资源有限而人口不断增加，所以粮食缺乏。

反驳：忽视了有家畜和人口抢粮。一斤肉对应消耗掉了21斤粮食。Conclusion--〉土地资源有限和人口增加不会使食物缺乏。

我觉得这样的推导足够成立conclustion，为什还要有一个assumption？即，通过取非，Ｅ怎么妨碍结论的推出了呢？？

不是很懂。

请教。

要是用来种植家畜饲料的土地根本不适合种植人所食用的粮食呢？
