为什么语法笔记里说D中的were时态有问题？

额。。感觉不对啊我觉得这里不是刚好比较将来和过去的状态吗？were不需要平行把

应该是将来和现在的对比。

因为will所以不平行？我不理解。那will和什么平行，和would ?

我觉得是因为automakers直到今天还setup diviends less conservatively，所以expectation是他们将会set more conservatively，那么一个状态到今天还持续就需要用现在完成时而不是过去时。they were过去的状态，现在已经终止，那么就不需要will setup more conservatively.
