标题: UIUC vs UIC

UIUC and UIC (University of Illinois at Chicago) 的MSA offer, 犹豫中，不知道该选哪一个？

老公今年到University of Chicage，PhD in Accounting, 一上至少四五年，所以希望我毕业后硕士能在Chicago找到工作。听说会计都喜欢local招人,UIUC,UIC各有利弊，比较如下：

1。，从地理位置来说，UIC在Chicago downtown, 找工作不知道会不会有优势一些。UIUC虽然靠近Chicago, 毕竟UIUC离Chicago有三个小时车程,从这点上说，不知道找工作会不会有劣势。而且，和老公两地分居一年。

2。从名气来说，UIUC好很多，但是听说MSA主要是International Students,就业前景也不是很乐观，不知道是不是。

3.从学费来说，UIUC贵差不多一万美刀。

不知道谁知道这两个学校的就业前景如何，希望能指点迷津。谢谢！

If I were you , I choose UIC for sure. UIC is not that bad

如果资金不是问题，当然选择UIUC，分居是一两年的事，而且离UIC不远，

why not Northern Illinoise? They have a very good accounting and also offer assistanship. Information may not be accurate. I heard it from friends. But one of my friend studying accounting there already got the job offer more than eight months before graduation.

当然是UIUC拉，据说UIC的国际学生毕业了根本找不到工作，除非你有绿卡

I can give you some more information since I am in Chicago now. Hopefully it helps.

--Most of my friends in US found their job from schools, internet and local newspapers. Compared with UIC and UIUC, you don't have to concern too much about the location on job hunting. You can always drive to Chicago downtown from UIUC, to have an inverview or whatever. In my opinion, it is easier to get a job from UIUC. The benefit of going to UIC is you can live with your husband together.

--UIUC is very well-known, that's true. Some majors are better than U of Chicago. I don't know much about MSA, sorry.

3.从学费来说，UIUC贵差不多一万美刀。

--There is a reason why UIUC are more expensive. At UIUC, you can access better professors, university facilities, and students than UIC. I think the study enviroment in UIUC will be much better than UIC. (that's my opinion)

Besides, congradulations! Chicago is a very beautiful city. Climate is similar to Beijing. You will have a lot fun in Chicago.
