标题: 【求教】申请北美MBA的地缘优势
各位神，想请问一个问题：
如果申请美国的MBA的话，同样一个人，
1. 在美国之外申请；
2. 去美国工作一年再申请（Assume可以找到工作的话）
是不是2的可能性要大呢？大多少程度呢大概？

或者两个其他条件都差不太多的人：一个英国/香港本科后在那工作，一个美国本科后在那工作，学校和公司level差不多，Gmat，推荐信，工作职位什么的都差不多。。。
在美国的那个，会更有机会拿到offer呢？

从学校自身的利益来看，他显然要招容易找到工作的学生以提高其就业率。在美国工作过基本下一份工作是不成问题的。不过我倒是见过许多“此处不留爷，自有留爷处”的学生，学校偏不招他。可是与其说是学生的损失，不如说是学校的损失。

对啊，有道理。
貌似很多地方都是对本土学生或者工作人士更青睐，也许就是这个原因吧。

Hello there,

Having work experience in the US BEFORE you apply is very nice and can be helpful. Now, it’s not better than having an awesome job! But schools do look for an international experience, and if you know how the US works, they will be more confident that you will be able to get a good job there.

Hi Frank, thanks. So you mean that the working experience in US will make the AO trust that you can find a job in US. But you think a good job in other place (also international but outside US) will overcome the shortcoming of not having US experience ?

Hello there,
Although there i s certainly an advantage to having international experience, it doesn’t mean than a stronger job abroad is not better! So if you have an offer at a higher position with more scary and more leadership, you should take the job abroad,

美国的经验会好报一些，但其实就像楼上说的，如果你本身已经很强了，有没有美国经验都无所谓。所谓加分是给可录可不录的人一个加分的

多谢你。。。本身不太强，不过就打算在这边先试试拉，不行明年再去。
