E不对阿，significantly 是表示程度，significant表重要，他俩意思不一样。

而且，形容词短语significant in compounding 在句尾是定语修饰前面的名词，而原题的意思是要significantly compounding 修饰谓语动词is growing,所以他俩的作用是不同的。

继续问，significantly compounding the effects of drug and alcohol abuse, which already cost business作什么成分啊？是同位语还是SVO，ing 结构作结果状语呢？

我看了贴子，但是大家讨论得都很乱啊。
