A mountainous terrain makes even such basic activities as walking relatively strenuous; it essentially imposes a physically active lifestyle on people. Clearly, this circumstance explains the long lives of people in Wistar.

D) The many opportunities for hiking, skiing, and other outdoor actovities that Wistar mountains offer make it a favorite destination for vacationing Bellarians.

i doubt your opinion is that since only vacationing Bellarians have this active lifestyle, it weakens the arguemnt. In fact, it strengthens the conclusion as these exercising opportunities have increased the life span of the group of vacationing Bellarians;thus,it increases the average age at death of the whole population.
C is clear, as it points out another reason to explain the phenomenon that, lots of aged people moves to Wistar region to explain the argument,that is, the moving will result two consequences - the average age of death will fall in other region, but that of Wistar will increase.作者: alzn2765 时间: 2015-5-30 20:59
