1，way of doing sth固定搭配，不能用for
2，while引导的状语从句，跟主句是伴随关系，但是这里应该是针对way的说明，而不是伴随主句hope发生的动作。

为什么不是the way to do sth呢？

the way to do sth 没有什么区别应该是interchangable (longman dictionary)

这道题不选D E是因为后半句代词指代不清的原因j
