Neither of us enjoy getting up early.
Neither of the candidates are really expressing their own views. ·

Neither of the two boys has passed the geography examination.
Neither of the twins is here.
Neither of them is incorrect.

为什么一个谓语动词用复数一个用单数?(都是从词霸上摘抄的例句)
词典的对neither用法的解释:
传统规则还认为 neither在语法上是单数,但它常跟复数动词连用，尤其当后跟 of和一个复数名词时.;
做连词,[与nor配合使用]两者都不...; 既不...(也不)(谓语通常与最近一个名词[代词]相一致);
做代词时表示单数名词.

有谁知道所谓的traditional usage在GMAT上适用吗?那些句子到底用复数还是单数?

查了，practical english usage,说neither of pl.谓语可用单或复数，但复数一般时在非正式文体中，所以我认为gmat里最好用单数!

我?手头没有词典,只是下载了个金山词霸.看来TOCEAN兄还真是很专业啊,值得学习!

gmat中，neither of 一定用单数（具体语法是：neither作代词，表单数概念）
