D. wrist bone, and it explains the pseudo-thumb, unlike true diits, which have multiple parts,consists E.wrist bone,a formation that explains why, unlike true digits, whichhave multiple parts, the pseido-thyumb consists
关于选项A，B中 排除的原因是explaining that的逻辑论元是 the mole‘s thumb，与逻辑不符
可是我以为如果explaining that 作为伴随结构逻辑主语论元可以当做是skeletal studies， 那就可以说得通，而排除答案可以通过谓语动词consist来判断 不知道有哪位XDJM可以解答下我的疑惑？

A和B，主语谓语不一致。
C和D，and前的两个句子（即the mole's thumb forms from an elongated wrist bone和 it explains why,as compared with true digits, which have multiple parts, the pseudo-thumb consists of a single, bladelike bone.）在逻辑上并不是独立平行的概念。AND的出现让两句句子呈现出独立平行的关系。A和B中的comma＋ing已经暗示句子的intended meaning是想告诉你这个发现同时explain一件事情。
E用同位语的方式清晰表达了the mole's thumb forms from an elongated wrist bone这个东西explain了后面那句句子。
