Announce后跟宾语从句，that引导定语从句修饰名词deal。

考点：逻辑表达
逻辑表达，同位语的作用与系动词 be 的作用一样，不同类的东西不能作同位语。不能用中文中的意
思理解去做语法题；分词、不定式、从句用做修饰语时，各自表达的逻辑含义不同，要注意区分。

(A) which指代million错误。
(B) part of 表示是同位语，但 deal 与 million 不是同类，million 是个数字 number，它的同位语可以是
a number…。deal 是 business agreement，用它作同位语的可以是 agreement, contract 等；makes
一般现在时态错误，应该用将来时，表示将来的预期。
(C) part of 表示同位语，但 deal 与 million 不是同类，理由与选项 B 相同；分词的形式不能表达出从
句才具有的时态概念。
(D) to make 的修饰对象有歧义，原句是修饰 deal 的，但不定式的逻辑主语又可以是句子主语。
(E) 介词 as 引导的短语在句中充当状语，如同 The news comes as a shock. You need to be able to
work as part of a team.中的 as 一样。这里 as part of…不是同位语，不需要去指代前面哪一个词或者
动作。

不看其他部分只看同位语部分选C的话笔记部分的解释是说deal不能指代950million ，但是为什么不把deal 看成一个同位语指前面整个句子？

(A) million, which is part of a deal that will make (which 后面跟单数is，就近指代million错误)
(B) million, a part of a deal that makes (同位语只能代名词，part of a deal是指a division, a company, 还是 $950 million? 指代任何一个都错误吧；主句的时态不能轻易改变，will表示将来时，不能换成现在时)
(C) million, part of a deal making (同B；主句时态不能改变，将来时不能改成进行时)
(D) million as a part of a deal to make (to do的主语需要是主句主语it改变了句子意思)
(E) million as part of a deal that will make (正确)

其他道理我也说不上，感觉对这题还是分析得不透彻

a part of a deal 为什么不能不能做概括性同位语，即整个purchase这件事是a part of a deal呢？

好吧，这么久了这题还在讨论，索性写个总结版吧。这是个难题，希望对后面学习的同学有帮助。

150. The computer company has announced that it will purchase the color-printing division of a rival company for $950 million, which is part of a deal that will make it the largest manufacturer in the office color-printing market.
The company has annouced that | it will purchase the division for $$ as part of a deal that will make.

(A) million, which is part of a deal that will make (这个错误不用多说，which只能修饰前面紧接的部分，这里是$950 million，doesn't make any sense since $$ is not a part of a deal here, the purchase is a part of the deal)
(B) million, a part of a deal that makes (同位语，ok，同位语must tag the immediately preceding noun，所以B/C错误一样，同位语错误同位$950 million；因为deal还不存在，只能用that will make而不能用makes)
(C) million, part of a deal making (同位语的错误同B；making表示the deal is making it the largest xxx at the time when the company will purchase the division, 时态不匹配，应该都用将来时；另外说下 a part of a deal 和part of a deal都可以对；)
(D) million as a part of a deal to make (to make的主语是the company，导致the company will make it the largest xxx, 那么这里对自己的动作需要用到反身代词itself而不是it，e.g. 我们不能说I made me happy. 要说I made myself happy.)
(E) million as part of a deal that will make (as part of a deal修饰前面整个句子it will purchase the division for $$；that用限定定语修饰deal，避免D中the company做主语需要反身代词的情况；will make和前面的will purchase时态呼应，正确答案)

问题终于解决了！！！！总结一下同位语望大神拍砖

CONCRETE noun stands for the preceding noun. TOUCH RULE
Example: Yellow jackets number among the 900 or so species of the world’s social wasps, wasps that live in a highly cooperative and organized society consisting almost entirely of the queen and her sterile female workers.

ABSTRACT nouns are allowed to stand for the whole idea of the preceding clause, rather than just the preceding noun or noun phrase.
Example: Scientists have observed large concentrations of heavy-metal deposits in the upper twenty centimeters of sediments from the Baltic Sea, findings consistent with the growth of industrial activity in the area.

关于part of 和 a part of
a part of 一般是具体事务的某部分（eg. 人体） the arm is a part of human body
而part of 更抽象 e.g.. Confidence, in addition to skills, is part of what's necessary for success in this game.

话说这一点我也纠结了很久part of a deal 到底是concrete还是abstract，但是Ron 说了是concrete!!!!!! 详情请看帖子
