D correct；两个不同层次却有联系的句子用semicolon连接是最合适的。And…aswell在此并不重复， as well修饰的是and后面的谓语动词buy（类似见prep 2-166补充说明中对but instead的说明）；Only做adj.修饰basketball

为什么选项B的also和as well重复，D选项的and as well就没有重复呢？？解析有点看不懂。。。。。

C. those in department stores, do very little impulse shopping, do not buy apair of skis and a boomerang when they come in for a basketball, but leave with only a basketball (后面的do和but leave是属于对impulse shopping的解释，不能用do, do, but平行；这平行结构也错了，肯定用do, do, and do；否定用not do, do, or do)

D. those in departmentstores, do very little impulse shopping; someone who comes in for a basketball will leave with a basketball only and not buy a pair of skis and a boomerang as well (我觉得as well也多余，不过没有别的选项错的明显；赵丽语法说and also，and as well都属于有弱重复意味的。不过我觉得要是把also 和as well放在一起那就肯定重复错了)
