In 1933 the rubber, clothing, and shipbuilding industries put into effect a six-hour workday, not as a temporary expedient but as a seemingly permanent accommodation to what many observers thought was an economy made overproduction by advances in technology.
E4-20 Although the manager agreed to a more flexible work schedule, (he said that it must be posted on the bulletin board so that both management and labor will know what everyone is) assigned to do. D he said that the schedule would have to be posted on the bulletin board so that both management and labor would know what everyone was 我想知道为什么要选择a呢 d都错在什么地方?
1)。。。accommodation to what many observers thought was an economy made overproduction by advances in technology.

第一个问题是不是这样解释更清楚些:accommodation to (what many observers thought was)( an economy )(made overproduction by advances in technology).
