有人会认为 attempted later in the century by other kings 可以当作名词性修饰语，that跳过修饰语修饰an achievement这样也说得通丫，但是你再看清楚一下，原题的success修饰的是repeat the achievement，而不是修饰achievement，而D选项repeat都不见了，等于说那个不成功是指这个achievement的不成功，而不是后人去repeat不成功，整个改变了原来的意思~~~~
