Got an email notice from Ivey today. Now I got myself a decision to make. Queen's career management is a great aspect, it's the small class, service-oriented, everyone would catch resource's attention.
Ivey has done a great job in Asian area, especially in China. Compare with Queen's class, Ivey's is more challenging.
Appreciate more tips from your guys if I could. Thanks in advance! Should anyone have any questions regarding application of Queen's and Ivey, fell free to let me know.

My personal opinion:
Queen's 12-month program is good to save opportunity cost, but not good for candidates who want to transfer to a new industry. Most Queen's grads go back to the industries where they come from.
Ivey has a prestigous reputation tranditionally, although its ranking is sliding downward. It is outstanding in general management. If you focus on this area, Ivey is the only choice in Canada.
Well, it is really a tough decision. I was trapped in the same situation some time ago.
I believe that there is no one-fit-all answer. It all depends on your personal preference. But one thing for sure, no matter which way you go, you win!!!

Well, it really depends what kind of career you are looking for.
MBA education is a long term process, which will definitely change the way you are thinking. If you have strong career path which you will continue to pursue, short term program may be your choice, saving a lot of opportunity cost.
If you are not satisfied with your past and looking forward to building a more challenge future, long term program will be my suggestion.

Choosing school is important, but more most important thing for MBA program is to choose XDJM who will be your life-long friends and networking. Come to Ivey, you will find such XDJM....

Hi Abichan, I live in Toronto, Canada, and I know really well about Canadian University. Go for Ivey, it's the best business school here. The best 3 Business Universities in Canada are Richard Ivey, Univeristy of Toronto (Rotman) and York University. Queens can't compares with either Richard Ivey or the other two Universities. Queen offers the accelerated, one year program, is not all that good. I won't think twice for Ivey.
the best way to know about a school is to visit the school since others' opinions maybe biased. Every top school has its strengths. that is why they are top schools. It is not proper to simply conclude that one top school is better than the other. you can only say one school is better for yourself. A wise person should look for a school proper for himself or herself, not just care about others' opinions. if you really care about others' opinions, it is possibly helpful to talk to a Canadian who really knows about those schools.
