Yet this cannot be the motive since, as the D foresaw. D’s federal expenses for the intervention were 8billion, whereas, during the war, profits from the D industrialists’ facilities in A totaled only 4billion.

就是说D政府用于干预的钱大部分都用于了投资工业设施以外的用途
这么说投资工业的钱就不是他们声称的eight billion，而应该少于这个数，也许是少于four billion的
而他们有four billion的利润
这就支持了对D accuse，实际上获取利润是D干涉的目的
不知道我说清楚没有

=不投资工业的人
应该是这样理解的吧

就是这句话我开始没看懂，现在要是这样理解的话，就说得通了！谢谢！

不过总觉得这样理解不太习惯。看来思维与ets还有差距。
