标题: 关于they them their的一个简单问题
看笔记说：they, them, their 只能指代同个复数先行词，是指一句话里面么？
那如果A....they.... ，and B.....they这里的they分别指代的A，B是可行的么？
或者，[size=13.63636302948px]A....their.... and B.....they呢？

例如这题：70. (28271-!-item-!-188;#058&003560)

E是对的，
但我当时直接排除了它因为看到个they。。和前面的their。。。

应该是同一句话里面的，但是还是要具体问题具体分析？
我理解是or  连接的两个平行的句子，并且they their 前面有复数名词可以分别指代，所以可行。

It is unclear whetherchimpanzees are unique among nonhuman species in their ability to learnbehaviors from one another, or if, when other animals are studied in as muchdepth, similar patterns would be found.

(A) if, when otheranimals are studied in as much depth, similar patterns would be found
(B) if other animalswere studied with as much depth they would exhibit similar patterns
(C) would similarpatterns be found in other animals if they were studied in as much depth
(D) whether similarpatterns would be exhibited in other animals that were studied with as muchdepth
(E) whether otheranimals would exhibit similar patterns if they were studied in as much depth

分析思路：or连接，平行格式，前面有whether, 所以排除ABC，就剩DE。
            D里面 that were studied with as much depth, reductant.
            检查正确答案是否为E，带入原句中，未划线部分  whetherchimpanzees are unique 与E当中的otheranimals would exhibit similar patterns 平行，所以选E。

恩。。应该是这样的。。有点太执着没顾忌变化了。。。。。
这里大的语法点就是看平行。。。还是应该根据平行推出来的结果判断的。。。

同样的困惑，搜到了Ron的帖子

Ron说：如果5个选项没有关于pronoun的split，别管他；如果有关于pronoun和special noun的split，一般就选择special noun的选项了，因为很明显special noun会比pronoun更直接更清晰了～～
然后他还强调了慎重通过一个或者几个题就总结出right/wrong的规则，不是绝对的语法规则时就题论题会比较好～～

楼主您好，应该是这样的同一句子中的人称代词（包括主格和宾格）指代要是一样的，同一物主代词的指代也是一样的。但是同一句中的人称代词和物主代词的指代可以不同。举例，同一句话的they和them指代要相同，their和their指代要相同，但是they和their指代可以不同。而且就像RON说的，代词属于比较相对的项目，需要对比选项来确定到底考的是不是代词的点。
比如这道题，OG原题：
In an effort to reduce their inventories, Italian vintners have cut prices; their wines are priced to sell, and they do.
这句话中，第一个their指代的是Italian vintners,they指代的是wines，说明指代可以不同的。
