这道题在GWD里出现过...随后在最新的GMAC官方Prep4 Pack里也出现了，官方答案是E，让我百思不得其解，尤其是that have..小伙伴们怎么看？

LEO>>devastation and enslavement 是复数，所以用that has错误。
B) devastation and enslavement in the name of progress by which native peoples of the Westrn Hemisphere have been decimated
LEO>>被动语态不简洁。（注意这里从句中也是用的复数谓语）
C) devastating and enslaving in the name of progress those native peoples of the Western Hemisphere that have been decimated
LEO>>优先使用名词形式，而非动名词形式。
LEO>>those没有指代对象。
LEO>>结构性错误，those native peoples不知道在主句中担任什么成分，也不能形成完整的从句。
D) devastating and enslaving those native peoples of the Western Hemisphere which in the name of progress are decimated
LEO>>personify +名词，好过+动名词；
LEO>>which不能指代人，应改用who；
LEO>>in the name of progress修饰对象错误；
LEO>>被动语态不简洁。
E) the devastation and enslavement in the name of progress that have decimated the native peoples of the Western Hemisphere
LEO>>OA 主语the devastation and enslavement 被看作是复数。尽管一般来说the A and B视作单数，复数的表达形式是the A and the B，但这就是OA。
