标题: Testmasters180.com vs. Testmasters.com

The real TestMasters that people talk most about turns out to be Testmasters180.com

And there is a crappy Testmaster.com out there

is testmaster180's product good enough for providing high quality LSAT prep? Or Kaplan's is better? Thanks,

As to prep courses, Testmaster and Powerscore are highly recommended by many over Kaplan or Princeton review.

It could be different if you mean self study on its prep course materials, though.

Prep Courses? You mean taking class in physical form, just like XDF class? I do not think any Chinese student can afford the price to take those.

Yes, both the Testmasters180 and Powerscore are over 1000 bucks.

Then buy the materials and study by youself if you can. They are expensive too : ). I know they are around $600 in the States. There are comprehensive analysis on each type of questions and a lot homework for practice.

Kaplan may be less expensive?  I didn't see their prep books yet. So i don't know how it is compared with the Testmasters or Powerscore. I did see some positive comments on Kaplan though.

I have purchsed Logic Games Bible and Logic Reasoning Bible from Powerscore, each are priced between US45-60, and I found both are extremely helpful, especially Logic Game Bible. Being said, if your goal is to boost your score from 160 to 170, these books are not for you. They tend to focus more on building fundementals and lay out guidelines for you to follow. If your initial level is around 145-150, and you want to achieve 5-15 points increase, this is definitely good resource for you.

I highly recommend Powerscore, but only if Reading Comprehension is NOT your major weakness.

I think I can give my word regarding testmasters180 becuz I had their classes twice. If you are in the U.S., pls definitely try testmasters180 rather than kaplan. I had a tutor who just graduated from Columbia Law school. She is a clear logic thinking person, definitely helpful for LR. But unfortunately they are not targeted at students whose major language is not English, thus I didnt have much improvement in RC. I tried to take LSAT once but cancelled it immediately since I didnt wanna ruin my application. No score higher than 170, no chance to get into Top10 law school.

almost none of these prep courses helps much with reading comprehension.

i heard that Nova Master the LSAT has a pretty good section on reading comprehension. I am going to order one from Amazon.com and check it out. I'll share with you if i find any interesting stuff in it.
