答案：A
一开始没看出来A选项是定语后置，以为是emerged of错误搭配，后来联系manhattan语法Ch12中修饰语就近原则的反例2，谓语短小（has emerged），修饰语可能较长（of the patterns and causes of ocean currents），所以修饰语可与名词分开后置，ok，勉强可以理解。
例句 A new CEO has been hired who will transform the company by decentralizing authority to various division heads while increasing their account-ability through the use of public scorecards.
疑问：
1、原句还原为a reasonably clear picture of (the patterns and causes) of ocean currents has emerged.
句中 of... of...修饰a reasonably clear picture, 符合后面动词单数has。
而og verbal SC 69 讨论帖中RON 大神说GMAT 里避免 X of Y of Z, X in Y in Z的用法。（当然其他选项错误更明显，仍应选A）
所以我想: a picture of ...不变，把为the patterns and causes of ocean currents改为XX's 所有格是不是更合适呢？
即为a reasonably clear picture has emerged of ocean currents’ the patterns and causes
感觉还是怪怪的，求指教！
2、C错误很多，但是句子的形式方向我觉得可以用。
比如改成a reasonably clear picture has emerged , which describes the patterns and the causes of ocean currents.（简单明了有木有！！！）
但是楼主不满足啊（manhattan改句疯魔了有木有），想得寸进尺用with独立主格修饰a picture
——a reasonably clear picture has emerged , with the patterns and the causes of ocean currents.
然后楼主就too young, too naive了，因为我不知道这样对不对啊！！
那么问题来了，上面表述如果不对，哪里错了，另外如何用独立主格正确表达？？
