这道题的正确选项是D，但是我在D里发现了一个问题，to be sighted 和was discovered难道不是重复了吗？求大神指点~

个人见解 to be sighted是后置定语修饰pulsar的，而 was observed是主句的谓语动词，不矛盾
翻译过来是第一颗被观察到的脉冲星是在1967年夏天被Bell发现的，但这项发现指导1968年2月才被公布
A项it指代不明，逻辑上应该指前句的核心意思，即这项发现，这里却可能指代pulsar
B项逻辑顺序反了，应该是先发现再公布
C项although引导的分句没主语
E项 pulsar被announced逻辑错误，只有Discovery才能被announced

那么p既然to be sighted了，为什么后面还是要强调它被发现了呢~好纠结

嗯是这样的但是你如果把to be sighted去掉就变成了第一颗P是被XXX观察到的意思不对了吧
to be sighted把P限定在那一颗
