这道题的选项是B没有什么问题但是我很纠结D选项，看以前的帖子有大神说要紧扣原文的核心即：most of the illegal copying is done by people with no serious interest in the program.D选项没有什么关系。我觉得比较有道理，看OG 的解释，说：the comparison is faulty: the lose is not being considered in the context of total industry revenues but in the context of total sales of programs. 我的理解是这样的对于整个行业的全部收入不能反映出这部分人对于这个program是不是感兴趣也就是说与本题的核心无关，但是如果说是对这个program的销量就可以反映那部分人是不是对该program有兴趣。这样理解对吗？

又是你又是你，你那个同问我答了，这是补全的题目，不是weak的题，你拿D跟前面有联系么…前边说用盗版的人没利害关系，所以损失不大，因为你让他买他就不买了。你接上D你再读这句话，你感觉和没利害关系的陈述是不是风马牛不相及。是补全，不是weak别混了，不是只有weak了，支持了作者就能选

我知道 B 是最好的选项可我就是不知道D 中OG 的解释为什么这样说the comparison is faulty: the lose is not being considered in the context of total industry revenues but in the context of total sales of programs. 他是说如果和program的总产量比较就可以吗？

所以补全的题就是要和前提、结论密切相关的，我也知道B是最好的选择，可是我想看看OG 对D的思路the comparison is faulty: the lose is not being considered in the context of total industry revenues but in the context of total sales of programs. 难道和这个program的总产量比就可以？

没有B选项的话就可以

可是盗版的人相对于购买program的人来说少不能说明lost少因为有可能购买者的数量非常多，相对少不是说绝对值也少

不是人少，是市场价值相比之下较低。既然盗版的市场价值相对于购买的市场价值低，那么带来的损失会较小。

你的意思是他盗版的就算放到市场上去卖也没不了多少钱? D 不是这个意思吧

不是我的意思而且我的意思也不是卖不了多少钱
题目有的D选项
the total market value of all illegal copies is low in comparison to the total revenue of the computer industry
说的是相较之下的价值
所以如果说这道题目没有B选项，而且把D选项改成Program的话会是答案。
你现在到底在纠结什么？

我现在没有在纠结这道题的B选项的正确性。而且D的比较也是没有意义的因为把盗版的价值和电脑工业整个收入比也是没有意义的。

我纠结的是就是把D选项改成购买program的总价值也是没有意义的啊因为这涉及到相对值和绝对值之间的关系，相对小并不是说绝对的lost小啊很可能program的购买总价是100000万盗版的价值是1000万比起来是小可是也不能说1000万小吧===我是这个意思

对于Loss的定义我们看法不同。
照你所说，program的购买总价是100000万盗版的价值是1000万，那么对于program而言，这个loss当然是小的，因为总价值远远高于loss。
你说的绝对值高并没有考虑到Loss里隐含的对于比较下高低的判断。重点是“比较下”。

就是因为你说的选项里的这个“比较下”我才认为有问题。你看题干：thus, the loss to the industry is quite small
说的是这部分的损失对于整个电脑工业来说是小的。没有说相对于这个program来说损失是小的==
我是不是太纠结了
