Teachers had a greater influence on young people in the past than they do today.

试写:
Teachers play a essential role in the education system to the young generation. Since the young have most of their information about the world come from their teacher, many people hold the view that teachers influence them in the past, in the present, and in the future. When it comes to whether this point of view is rational or not, I do believe that more clarification should be illustrated to tesitify my argument.

Generally, the young generation are more independent today than they were couple years ago, physically and mentally. Their study includes more than the content the teachers deliver to them. That is to say, the students relies not only on the teachers but also on the channels such as libraries and facilities, especially when they are studying in the college. I remembered one of my college schoolmates, L, seldom did she go to the class, she would spend most of her time reading and excersing in the library instead. Still you would see her among top ten in the final exams. Obviously teachers’s effect on students today is no longer that influential.

Moreover, the young generation today value highly of the so-called individualism. Compared to the students in the past, surveys have shown a result that nowadays 15% more of students will make their own choices. The trend is becoming increasing clear that students are eager to spout out their thoughts instead of listening to the teachers.

On the other hand, influence on young generations has multiple factors besides teachers. The other factors are of great significance and their power is not negligible. Social media as an example, now draws much of the young people’s attention when speaking of novel topics such as bigdata, cloud storage online. The teachers are sometimes out of date when the young people are aspired to keep in pace of the progress of the society. With this bear in mind, I can safely come to my conclusion that the influence of teachers today on the young has lessen during these years.

Finally, I would like to emphasize on my argument that despite the great role teachers play in the young people’s study, their function is moving downward. According to the whole factors that matters, teachers might want to focus on how to improve their position in their students' mind, in order not to fall behind the fast development of the educational industry.

类似 Teachers were more appreciated and valued by the society in the past than they are now.

赞成。1:more students have their own opinions than before
2: more students have other methods or facilities to study than before.
3: the society is changing fast while teachers may fall behind

有没有小伙伴来救救我的论点贫乏症。。。

Studnents could receive a better, more efficient education if they spend 11 months a year studying.
不赞同。观点1:除了时间,有其他因素决定是否高效;2:study不是成功唯一途径;3时间不是越长越好。每次想观点都要好久。。。真是太不会忽悠了。。

Education is among the heated discussed topics and is always full of controversial argumetns. When it comes to whether the time spent by students should be increased, different people hold various views. Due to the crucial position of study in one’s life, some scholars hold the view that students should take the longer study time, say 11 months per year, the better. Rational seems the point of view, the logical chain behind it is readily to collapse. Several points in different dimensions will be illustrated to testify my argument.

Generally, the quality of students’ study is decided by a variety of elements, such as the quality of teachers, the merits of students, the time on study, etc. Determined by multiple factors, the effect on study will be complex and may change under various occasions if we alter one of the factors. Students can have more than one choices to improve their study such as utilizing the high-tech facilities in school, consulting with esteemed professors, etc. Same time on study, those who learn wisely accomplish more knowledge.

Moreover, the capability of study is no longer that important nowadays. How a person succeed has a totally indefinite definition. That is to say, we can achieve success via not only study but also other means. My friends have proved me that possibility. Both of my two friends, S & L, are very diligent and outstanding. S, chased after his father, started his apprentice life in his family factory after graduation; L, aimed at Nobel prize, continued his pursuit of science in college. Each of them now is chasing dream step by step, and one is leading a 10-staff team negotiating with clients while the other is working with his colleagues in the lab focusing on biotech. Hence studying is worth investing while other ways of living can also make success.

On the other hand, the statement has a total deficient loop that the longer studying the higher efficiency. Assuming that a student who performs excellent on his study has to spend more time on repeating the same thing for another two months a year, no wonder will he feel tired of study and may feel less penchant for knowledge. As a result, his efficiency will be lessened due to longer study time. Obviously this is the opposite consequence the statement wants to achieve.

Finally, I would like to emphasize that the time one spend on study does not equal to the quality of one’s learning process. Due to the factors I mentioned above, other indicators should be taken into consideration for the statement to be unbiased.

Students should not take part-time jobs while they are studying in the university
类似观点可套用,但是中间例子要换换
1除了时间,有其他因素决定是否学习好;2:study不是成功唯一途径;3时间不是越长越好
