申请的人应该超多的吧
我也很早就寄了 现在也还没有更新

这个学校太不尽人情了！我就只有一份RESUME晚到了2天，他们就不看我的材料了！！除非有空位出来！
这是他们的回复：
If you sent your resume so that it will arrive on February 3rd, then your application will be considered incomplete by the deadline, and will be considered on a space-available basis.

申请的人超多，这个学校招生的人真是牛得不得了！
学校很牛,看来脾气也很牛嘛,很少看到对DEADLINE要求如此严格的....同情楼上的

其实拿这$100也就是搏一下,没报太大的希望,毕竟大陆只招1-2个呀
我也是早就把材料寄出去了，因为它的checklist更新稍微有点滞后，我还三番五次的写信去骚扰人家，不过她倒是一直给我答复的。昨天又写了封信去问她什么时候给消息，说因为还有其他OFFER希望他们能尽快决定。她回答说因为2.1是deadline，所以2月份才刚刚开始看国际学生的申请材料，反复强调最晚4.15之前给答复。。。。。。也没说最早什么时候，还问我已经拿了什么学校的OFFER，人家的decision deadline是什么时候，然后她会把我的情况告诉系里的。
哎，排名第一就是拽，非要等到deadline才开始看资料。服了。
UIUC 的效率很高, 我今朝check dhl 他們的運送status. 今午己看見我的application STATUS complete 了....
早知道我就去赶UIUC的DEADLINE了，都是2月1日。我就随便挑了个UT-AUSTIN，没想到这么牛！！
拿到UIUC的offer的XDJM，是不是都是读MSA的？UIUC的offer能给多少奖学金啊？
请问有人申请UIUC的MAS吗

I was admitted last year by UT Austin. However, I did not go in the end for some reason. I applied again this year. The secretary Keri seems like a very nice person. By the way, I also applied UIUC's Mas, where can I check my application status?

你用搜索搜一下UIUC，有好几个人已拿到了UIUC的MSA的OFFER。你用短信问他们。

UIUC, UT这种牛校都不提供国际学生奖学金的，我专门就这个问题写信跟他们的admission officer 确认过

I didn't apply for MAS mainly for two reasons:
1, Personally, the "Master of Accounting Science" sounds more academic than "Master of Science in Accounting". Considering my career goal, I need to learn something pratical in US. Based on the info. on its website, I jump to the conclusion that MSA suits me more. However, I was surprised at the fact that MSA appliction even does not need GMAT score! I wrote to Joe with my concern. Here copied her reply:
"The GMAT is not currently required, however it is strongly recommended. The reason it is not required is because when this program was originally started it was designed for international businessmen and women already in the workforce in their home countries. With the increase in domestic application that we have seen in the past few years we are in the process of evaluating whether or not we want to require the test in the future. With your score of 720 it will only strengthen your application."
Therefore, I made up my mind in applying for MSA, a top-ranking program of a decent school. It was my feeling about UIUC MSA program at that time. Admittedly, I was a little bit frustrated when I saw notes on CD saying that the quality of MSA is not as good as MAS and even saying that the latter is much better. But after reading UIUCer's note, I felt a lot better.
2, Impersonally, you guess right. I didn't take TSE test. Therefore, I am not even a qualified candidate for MAS program.

Keri is the MPA assistant director at UT Austin, you can find her email address through the MPA's website. She always responds my email very well.
I am surprised to learn that many students applied for UT Austin's MPA program. I was lucky to get admitted last year. According to Keri, UT Austin has never gave any international student assistance in tuiition. However, if your spoken English is good, you can get a TA position.

他们的admission officer说会的。通常如果学校录取你的话，都会先发email通知你的。如果deny你的话，估计就没有email通知了
今天打电话去UT，问怎么我一月中寄送的申请材料到现在网上还没更新，结果还是说让我再等等，说要4个星期，下个星期可能会有更新，真是没办法。
"虽然刚过去没奖学金.第二学期,学校会按照你的GPA发奖学金的" <--- 傻傻的问一句，UT Austin 的MPA不是 one-year program的吗？第二学期是什么意思亚？
