答案是D，我唯一的问题就是A和D中的belong的问题，belong是不及物动词，不应该有被动形式，那么D选项中为什么是belonged？而不是像A一样用belonging？这里的belong难道不是非谓语动词？求大神解答！谢谢~

你说的很对，belong是不及物动词，所以句子中belong后面是跟着in the university，而不是直接跟名词哈~

原句是 Edith Abbott was convinced that social work education belonged in the university.

说的是EA这个人相信that从句，从句里 social work education是主语，belong是动词，而且并没有用作被动形式，就是用作主动的哈~ 如果改成belonging，那就变成修饰 social work education的修饰成成分了，那从句就没有动词啦~
